Some years ago I was asked to help make bridesmaids dress when another seamstress had let the bride down. All buttons covered ourselves then. Now you can get them done for you. Phew

Welcome to my blog

I started sewing over 40 years ago with a lovely sewing teacher at school. I looked forward to every lesson and carried on sewing at home for myself and my children. I then started to sew for other people in the seventies when I made bridesmaids' dresses for friends. Over the years I continued to sew in my spare time and now in my retirement, I am able to commit myself to sewing regularly. I have a well-equipped sewing room. I am happy to discuss your needs for any kind of alteration and travel to you if necessary.
